I am a PhD student in Instructional Technology at University of South Florida. I am interested in the information seeking behavior of youth, collaboration, and informal learning in online environments. Most of my research touches on one of these areas in some way, but I always like to explore new questions and work on new projects.

I am currently a freelance instructional designer, graphic designer, and editor. I am enjoying the flexibility of my work right now but can’t wait to earn myself a spot at a university somewhere!

I am married and have a step-daughter (11), son (5), and daughter (3). Everything I do, I do for my family. I love reading, which, if you’ve read any of my blog at all, you probably already know that. I also really enjoy pop culture of any kind and am pretty much attached to my technology; my laptop and iPhone are never too far away. If you want to know anything else about me, please view my visual CV (link in the menu on the right), or shoot me an email.
